Oliver 4000 Royal “DIVEDEND”

Owner leaves to the GOLD COAST, in two weeks and instructs us to sell her, lock stock and barrel with thousands of dollars worth of extra gear right down to the pots and pans, you even get the game fishing rods and soft baits.

Powered by a single 6 cylnder 3116 Caterpillar diesel, producing 350 hp, topping out at 20 knots, with a comfortable and economical 16 knot cruise speed. All supported by hydraulic trim tabs, with the added benefit of a side power bow thrusters, to eliminate those embarrassing berthing moments. She carries two 365 litre fuel tanks giving you great range with a total of 730 litres of fuel.

The sleeping accommodation features a large double cabin up in the forepeak with a double cabin to port and a pull out double in the main saloon. All the sofas in the saloon are covered with leather and the wood work is hand crafted in teak timber.

Her carpets are all in good condition. For entertainment there is a quality stereo and LCD TV with DVD player. Dining is very comfortable with a removable teak table and again leather and teak furnishings.

On this Oliver 40 you have your traditional Kiwi aft galley layout, featuring oodles of storage space and a 3 burner gas hob with large gas oven. The floor is teak and holly with lovely teak timber used in the cabinetry. Refrigeration is plentiful with a large fridge to starboard in the saloon and fridge and freezer out in the cockpit. Hot water is heated by the engine into a hot water cylinder or you can run it from shore power, giving you the ability to have a shower after fishing, if you are just nipping out for a quick fish.

One great feature of this Oliver 4000 Royal is the solid hand laid teak on the cockpit sole, very nice under foot on those hot summer days and enough space for a large outdoor furniture setting for friends and family to enjoy a quiet chardonnay, or stacks of space for serious fishing.

There is a second helm station up in the fly bridge that comes complete with squabs for sunbathing or just lounging around.
