40ft Salthouse Corsair Mk11 1991 - re powered in 2003 with twin 240 Yanmar diesels.

“SEEKER” is the fisherman’s dream and in current MSA survey for 18 persons for enclosed waters until Feb 2011. The performance and handling of theses boats is legendary, she has recently been re powered with twin 240 Yanmar diesels on shafts and done 1450 hrs. The 240 Yanmars diesels give a comfortable cruise of 18knots at 2500 – 2600 rpm and use only 3 litres of diesel per nautical mile.

This Salthouse Corsair is equipped with a steering station in the main saloon and also up in the flying bridge, the main downstairs station is equipped with hydraulic steering, auto pilot, colour sounder, GPS, 16 mile radar, furuno SSB, VHF, and CB she also carries a full compliment of safety gear including 12 life jackets, 2 life rings, 2x life rafts, 3x fire extinguishers and the latest Epirb.

Ground tackle is 200m rope and 18m chain anchor with Maxwell winch plus spare rope and chain. There is even a rope only winch for Cray pots, dredges and that big PUKA when you run out of steam pulling it up from 60m.

Accommodation is 6 bunks up forward and you can sleep two in the main saloon if you need to, There is the usual Corsair galley with gas cooking and heaps of storage spaces. “SEEKER” carries 800 litres of fuel and 600 litres of water and has 5 near new batteries, 2 x cranking, 2 x house and one dedicated to the radio.
