2007 VOYAGER 12.4m Power Catamaran powered by twin 256 hp Steyr diesels running through conventional shafts and propellers. The engines have both run around 470 hours from new and most of the running has been, to the Barrier and back.
This cat was built as the New Zealand Demonstrator for the Voyager factory in Australiaand has many non standard extras, as you would expect on a show boat. Including Deviancy hand laid timber look floor and teak in the cock pit. The standard V1100 is 11.8 meters were this boat has a very useful 600mm addition to the boarding platform with stainless steel rails and tones of rod holders; you can easily fish 8 people there. The cockpit clean up, is easy with saltwater wash down for the boat and hot fresh water shower for the crew. A stainless BBQ comes out of its locker to cook the days catch.
With 1000 litres of fuel and 600 litres of water on board, you can stay away for extended holidays. Accommodation is in 3 double cabins with 2 to port and 1 to starboard with bathroom and shower aft, on the starboard side. The table and lounge in the main saloon converts to a double bed and you can sleep the kids up in the fly bridge in summer.
Driving the VOYAGER 12.4m Power Catamaran is via two helm stations, one in the main saloon and one in the fly bridge both complimented by hydraulic steering and raymarine electronics. Featuring radar overlaid chart plotting and the ability to split screen, so you can see the fish on the bottom. For safety there are ample lifejackets, a 406 epirb and VHF radios, at both helm stations.
The galley features a Gas oven, a two burner gas hob and a gas alarm. There is plenty of easy clean bench space and storage options. Refrigeration is via two large fridges and two freezers.Throughout the boat there is light colored European Beech timber. The lounge and downstairs helm seating is covered with mid brown soft, natural leather. One of the main features of this cat is the rough water performance, her owners tell me many times coming back from the Barrier other bigger boat turn back, they don’t need to!
